Crikey John,
How Many Boats are we going to take to Allhallows? The Midas, The Mini Midas, and Double 2 Shirts ?????

Well, you could tow the mini midas behind D2S like a tender!!!!!!! lol

Well technically the marathon rules require a liferaft.................... but I was thinking more along the lines of installing davits and use a hardboat. The only issue would be if the 1.3 ltr would be counted in the total cc capacity, but then that wouldn't be subjected to the 1.6 penalty for blowers............. So complex these choices nowadays

Cap Screws arrived for the manual pumps , bolt down nicely into the inserts as shown a few posts above. These will bond into the hull using west epoxy with microfibres to make a bonding paste. Cant really fit until the co-driver seat position is determined for the handle location. still another job done.

Still rubbing down at the moment

Apart from grabbing a few moments rubbing down, not much progress this week. I did assemble up the home grown fuel pick ups though, just waiting on the hi-locks to assemble them to the tanks. Will need to come up with an anti-chafe idea as the tanks have shown a history of rubbing on the stringers which I don't like.

Tanks are now done, just need a final clean out and some nitrile seals for the new inspection cover / fuel feed

Those pictures bring back fond memories john of when the midas was being painted, just a quick reminder that the Team colours are not "Mankini Pink" so dont get carried away.....
